The rack feels high quality and operates well. It seems the finish is more durable than cheap powder coated brands. Kind of like tents for camping (4 person is big enough for 2), The 4 place rack fits 2 bikes easily and is a tight fit for more. It did fit my full suspension mountain bike without the top tube adapter. I also bought the deadlock system. Some say even with the locks you can just remove the pivot bolt and walk away with the bikes and rack. My easy, cheap solution: Use some JB Weld and cover the nut and threads of the bolt. Make sure to wire brush them and clean the surface. After that a wrench won’t fit on the end and the bolt is “welded” to the nut without any problems with the pivot function.

Bike rack works fine. Read different reviews that were not good. Went ahead and bought it anyway.

The bikes go on very easily and are quickly strapped on.

    I recommend the rack.

This is nice and sturdy when attached to my 2008 Jeep Wrangler. The only issue I have is that I can not open the gate due to the spare tire. If i need to get in the back I have to take the rack off. Other then that the rack holds the bikes nice and secure. I was on the interstate with them and there was no issues transporting them at all.

rack is sturdy and provides a secure mount for your bike. There is no rattle. Bike stays on and did not sway as advertised. The tools provided with the rack aren’t that good. I used my own tool to install it to the car. Yakima should have saved the cost of the tools and add extra accessories for the rack. I have a bike with an odd frame and would like to have the bar that goes between the handle bar and the seat to help mount the bike to the rack. But it will have to cost me extra for this. I only gave 4-star because of the cost and lack of accessories.
